If, for any reason, you need to take the IE experience to the next level on a Mac, you could download a virtual machine (such as VMware Fusion, which has a Windows license), therefore creating a Microsoft environment on a Mac, which would allow you to download Internet Explorer.

Before you do that, it can be useful to make sure your Mac is running at peak performance and not cluttered up with unwanted system junk. Here is how you can do that:

My G5 recently died, and I upgraded to a MacPro 2 x 2.26 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon, and my keyboard is not working correctly. It seems that the Microsoft Intellipoint software does not work right. I don't really care about most of the bells and whistles, but I really need to remap my crt and alt keys to their mac equivalents, and add an eject key. Without those this keyboard is useless, and I need it, as I get bad carpal tunnel syndrome. Is there alternate software than microsofts that will work? after doing my upgrade to snow leopard whenever i go to open microsoft word 08 for mac, it prompts me something about 'xxx' was a font downloaded from the internet do you want to allow or not allow.. but it doesn't do it once.. it does it for every font soooooooooooo annoying. i ended up having to just force quit. is there a way i can fix this without having to sit and allow all of those? not clue how long it will take cause it kinda hangs a little in between each prompt. it didn't do this before i upgraded to snow leopard. i need to have access to word by this weekend cause i have a class that starts on saturday.
